For 120 years, NGS has been the leader in teaching genealogical research skills and providing a pathway to scholarly work.

    The first society founded to promote the use of DNA testing in genealogy. The mission of the International Society of Genetic Genealogy is to advocate for and educate about the use of genetics as a tool for genealogical research while promoting a supportive network for genetic genealogists.

    The Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) professional organization dedicated to the growth and enhancement of the genealogical profession. Founded in 1979, APG is the world’s largest association for professional genealogists, representing more than 2,000 members in forty countries.
